PROGRAM STRUCTURE

5-Month Cohort Experience

  • Monthly Group Consultation (10 hours total)

    • Meets once per month for 2 hours

    • Hour 1: Didactic teaching (advanced EMDR skills, complex trauma, case conceptualization)

    • Hour 2: Case staffing + Q&A (interactive, discussion-based)

  • Individual Consultation (5 hours during program)
     Focused on your specific clients, challenges, and clinical growth

  • Additional 5 Individual Hours (post-program)
     Scheduled at your convenience to support continued development and completion

Upon completion of all 20 hours, you will receive a Letter of Recommendation from your consultant toward EMDR certification.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  1. Synthesize complex client data into coherent EMDR case conceptualizations.

  2. Prioritize and sequence targets in complex and developmental trauma cases.

  3. Identify and resolve blocking points during reprocessing.

  4. Select and apply appropriate cognitive interweaves.

  5. Adapt EMDR protocols for complex clinical presentations while maintaining fidelity.

  6. Evaluate client readiness for reprocessing.

  7. Integrate culturally responsive perspectives into EMDR practice.

  8. Refine attunement and pacing during reprocessing.

  9. Develop effective future templates aligned with client goals.

$1500 (5-month program)

$100/hour for each additional individual consultation hour

  • The certification process is about more than just a title - it provides you with invaluable education that goes beyond the basics

  • To be eligible to begin the certification process you must be fully licensed in your field, and you must have completed an EMDR Basic Training program in its entirety. (You can accrue hours towards certification BEFORE  you are fully licensed, you just can’t apply for certification until you are fully licensed.)
