The training organization collects limited participant information necessary for course administration and EMDRIA compliance, including:

● Certification eligibility records

No clinical or personal therapy records are collected or maintained during this training

How Participant Information Is Used

Participant information is used solely for legitimate educational and administrative purposes, including:

Participants may not record training sessions, breakout rooms, or practicum exercises without explicit written permission.

Confidentiality During Practicum

Although practicum exercises are educational rather than therapeutic, participants may discuss personal experiences as part of learning EMDR procedures. All participants agree to:

● Maintain confidentiality of all practicum discussions

● Respect the privacy of fellow trainees

● Refrain from sharing identifying information outside the training environment

Data Retention

Training records are retained only as long as necessary to:

● Document completion of EMDR Basic Training

● Meet EMDRIA reporting and verification requirements

After this period, records may be securely archived or deleted.

Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for:

● Accessing training platforms through secure personal devices

● Maintaining confidentiality in their physical environment during online sessions

● Using private or headphones-supported spaces during practicum whenever possible
